Fata Informatica is a company that cares about its customers. For us it is important to ensure maximum transparency about how we process personal data and how we keep it safe, in compliance with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

The website www.sentinet3.com is a static website: it contains no data collection forms, does not offer newsletter subscription, does not use statistics tools such as Google Analytics and only loads resources hosted on the website itself, with no embedded third-party content.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Fata Informatica S.r.l. (Sentinet³ is a Business Unit of Fata Informatica S.r.l.), with registered office at Via Tiburtina 912, 00156 Roma. Phone +39 06 4080 0490, or by email to the privacy office.

The up-to-date list of data processors and persons authorised to process data is kept at the controller’s registered office.

2. Purposes of processing

The website does not collect personal data through forms. Personal data may be processed:

  • when the data subject spontaneously writes to the email addresses or calls the numbers shown on the website: in this case the data provided are used solely to answer the request;
  • to check that the website works correctly and for security reasons, through the browsing data described in section 8.

Under Article 6, for data provided spontaneously the legal basis is the consent of the data subject, who is free to give it or not and may withdraw it at any time under Article 7(3). Providing data is not mandatory; refusing to provide it only means that it will not be possible to answer the request.

3. Types of data processed

The data processed are personal data, that is information through which a person can be identified as a natural person (for example: first name, surname, email address, phone number), which the data subject chooses to provide, as well as the browsing data described in section 8.

4. Recipients or categories of recipients of the data

The data subject’s data may become known to the natural persons appointed as data processors and to the natural persons authorised to process the data needed to carry out the tasks assigned to them.

The data will not be communicated or transferred to any company other than the controller.

5. Rights of data subjects

Current data protection legislation grants the data subject specific rights, which may be exercised by contacting the data controller directly and at any time:

  • right of access, under Article 15;
  • right to rectification, under Article 16;
  • right to erasure, under Article 17;
  • right to restriction of processing, under Article 18;
  • right to data portability, under Article 20;
  • right to object, under Article 21.

The data subject may at any time change optional consents and receive a copy of the data provided by contacting Fata Informatica S.r.l. on +39 06 4080 0490, by email to the privacy office or by post at Fata Informatica S.r.l., Via Tiburtina 912, 00156 Roma.

If they believe their rights have been infringed, data subjects may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority under Article 77(1) of the GDPR. This is without prejudice to the right to apply directly to the courts under Article 79 of the same Regulation.

6. Processing methods and retention period

Processing is carried out with automated tools (for example electronic procedures and media) and/or manually (for example on paper), for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected and in any case in compliance with current legislation.

Data are retained for as long as the contractual and commercial relationship with the controller lasts, or until the data subject requests their erasure, as well as for the time needed to fulfil legal obligations.

7. Transfer of data to third countries

The data are not processed by IT service providers operating, as data processors, outside the European Union.

The website is owned by Fata Informatica S.r.l., which manages it and ensures compliance with personal data protection legislation.

8. Browsing data and cookies

Browsing information is processed automatically and collected in aggregate form only, to check that the website works correctly and for security reasons. Under Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, this information is processed on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest.

For security purposes (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection), the automatically recorded data may also include personal data such as the IP address, which may be used, in accordance with applicable laws, to block attempts to damage the website or harm other users, or any other harmful or criminal activities. These data are never used to identify or profile the user, but only to protect the website and its users.

The data collected during the operation of the website are used solely for the purposes indicated and retained for the time strictly necessary to carry out these activities, and in any case for no longer than 10 years. They are never provided to third parties, for any reason, except upon a lawful request by the judicial authority and only in the cases provided for by law.

The website does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies. For details, see the cookie notice.
