Hyper-V Monitoring

Hyper-V servers and guest machines monitored together: from the general, the server, to the specific, the performance of each VM.

From the server to individual VMs

Microsoft Hyper-V is a hypervisor-based virtualisation solution for x86-64 systems. Virtualised environments are increasingly used to improve efficiency and reduce costs, but bringing an entire virtual infrastructure under monitoring can be laborious and time-consuming.

The Sentinet³ Hyper-V Server Pattern monitors Hyper-V servers and all guest machines at the same time, for thorough and always up-to-date monitoring of the infrastructure: the checks range from the general (the server) to the specific (the VMs).

Why it matters

Thorough monitoring

  • Server and guests together: the Pattern monitors the Hyper-V server and all its virtual machines at the same time.
  • From the general to the specific: first the server’s resources, processes, disks and services, then the uptime, RAM and CPU of each VM.
  • Fast onboarding: a quick and effective way to bring the servers and clients of the virtualised infrastructure under monitoring.
